Oben Group announces the acquisition of Grupo Poligal, effective February 25, 2021. This acquisition comprises the BOPP and CPP production plants in Portugal and Poland. Also commercial offices in Germany, as well as an extensive sales and distribution network throughout Europe. This acquisition marks a milestone in Oben’s growth, as it represents the start of the company’s expansion outside of the Americas.

Poligal brings to the Oben Group a great team of professionals, state-of-the-art machinery and a wide commercial platform; reinforcing Oben’s presence in the global plastic film industry. Now having a production base in Europe, Oben Group will reinforce the value proposition to its customers by offering its complete portfolio of films for the packaging industry such as BOPP, CAST, BOPET, BOPA, BOPE and Coating, with the quality and service that distinguish us.
